Product Care

By understanding the characteristics of wood and treating it in accordance to the care instructions, it will give you many years of enjoyment.

If the timber is left untreated over a few months under harsh environmental exposure, it will gradually turn into a silver-grey colour with some small cracks appearing, especially on the end grain. This is the norm and will not affect the strength or durability of the furniture.

Maintaining Oil

The use of Maintaining Oil is recommended. This will help to avoid some of the cracking and slow down the weathering process. When re-applying, it is essential to remove any dirt that has accumulated. When the surface is dried, apply the suitable treatment again following the care label instruction from the Maintaining Oil bottle for full details. It is recommended that this process is carried our annually, preferably during Spring.

* Do not use the furniture until treatment is dried.

If you cannot store the furnitures away from the harsh conditions of Winter, you should protect them with an approved waterproofed cover.

Safety

Always place chairs and tables on a level surface. Never lean back on chairs as this may weaken the structure.

All four legs has to be in contact with the ground at all times when you are sitting on it.

Care should be taken when opening and closing folding type chairs.
